Restlessly I hunted for quiet and comfort but hot and dusty did I continue o grow more tired and patience broken. The wonders of this place are told by others. I longed for the sea to roll in and purify, oh the beauty of the sea, the breath of the sea, it was good for me. I spent some time with Dr. Murry, Surgeon of the Marine Hospital. Manatee's benefactor, our old acquaintance, also with the family of Enos [or Amos] Curry. Returned home by Steamer after staying about 10 days. May 28, 1893. Sunday, Manatee Novemer 1, 1896. I find no records have been made since 1893, and they were witten of events of 1891. Five years have passed a great many events have gone into the past and will not be remembered. Lula married Harry Penney date 1892 of Leesburg who graduated at the Conference College in the Spring. They were sent by the Conference to a Mission Work near Jacksonville. Christmas day 1893 I married Cornelia, Ellen Curry, our pastor, J.M. Sweat performed the ceremony. Soon afterwards we came to live at Mothers.
