Sailed to Braidentown. Anchored off Ware's Creek. May 5th. Fog in morning. C. Wind SE. Sailed to Riverside and returned with Mother aboard. May 7th. Cl. Wind W. Sailed to Palma Sola and anchored off Sans Terre. The yacht dragged onto the bank in a severe N squall in the afternoon and pounded quite badly. I filled her nearly up to the floor with water to let her settle and drew off at night when the tide rose. May 8th. C. Wind NE hard. Got under way with jib and spanker and sailed to Braidentown, anchoring off Ware's Creek. Later sailed to Riverside with Ethel. Returned and anchored off the Creek, near in shore. May 9th. C. Wind N stiff. The yacht fouled her anchor and dragged it into the creek. Took on board H.H. Gooch. May 10th. C. Wind E and W. Sailed to Sans Terre with Mother, Mrs. McArdle and Sue. March 11th. C.
