Will Positively Be Completed for Next Tourist Season. At last the hotel committee which has worked so faithfully to secure the building of a first-class tourist hotel in Bradentown, reports that the matter is settled; the contracts have been signed and the deeds for lot and funds for payment, are in the bank. The beautiful Duckwall block on the river front was purchased by subscription for $8,000 and donated as a site. Mr. H. L. Coe, one of our wealthy citizens has signed a contract to build of artificial grey-stone, on the southeast corner of the lot a three-story building, 42 by 156 feet, this to be connected by archway across the street, with the St. James Hotel which, with some remodeling, will be used as an annex with 30 good sized, well ventilated bed-rooms. The first floor of the new building will be used for offices, parlors, kitchen and dining room; the upper stories will contain 46 bed rooms which, with the 30 in the annex, makes 76 all told. The lot is a large one on the river front, and with the large trees and shrubbery growing thereon, will be converted into beautiful grounds. Mr. Coe proposes to spend most of the summer here pushing the completion of the building in time for the next tourist season." Newspaper clipping on new hotel plans. "Hotel for Bradentown Assured.
