"Bert" Warner, page 30, continuing from May 20, 1895. . . throat halliards. Got under way with the log in tow and got out through the Sound with light E. breeze which died out around noon and the tide having ebb was compelled to anchor. Later W wind carried us into the river against strong tides. Anchored off Sans Terre. May 23rd. Sailed to Fogarty's Wharf with Mother, three sisters. Misses Kate Warner and Martha Gilbert aboard. Aunt Martha left by the "Margaret" for Terra Haute and the rest of us returned to Riverside, anchored and landed. May 27th. Sailed to Braidentown with Mother aboard. Had the yacht photographed again, the one taken last month not being very clear. Arthur Cornwell was aboard with me. Returned and anchored off Riverside. Later--took 5 logs in tow for Johnson's mill, Manatee. Proceeded against the tide as far as Manatee Wharf and anchored as the W wind fell. May 28th.
