"Bert" Warner, page 41 continuing entry of January 15th, 1896. . . .the Castle Wharf where we docked and all hands went ashore for lunch. Redurned and put the party ashore off Mr. Hodler's. Anchored off Palma Sola Hotel. January 19th. Cl. Wind NW. Got under way for Tampa at sunrise. Arrived off Hyde Park and anchored at night. January 20th. C. Wind NW. Got under way for Philipps and Fuller's dock but had to stop at TC&P dock for want of wind. Later moved up to Philipps and Fuller dock and took aboard ten pkgs. mdse. [packages of merchandise] for Palma Sola Store Co., 3 cases gasoline for Grandma and Mother and one pkg varnish for Mr. Garland. Got under way for Palma Sola about 3 P.M. Anchored off Two Brothers Island about 8 P.M. January 21st. C. Wind E and SE. Got under way at daylight. Arrived at Riverside wharf and put the gasoline ashore. Docked at Hotel wharf and discharged freight. Moved up and anchored off Riverside. January 22nd. Cl. Wind SE flowy. Sailed to Braidentown stopping off at Hodler's. Returned and anchored off Hotel.
