"Bert" Warner, page 47 continues March 22nd, 1896. . .Mr. Robert Trimble, Mr. and Mrs. Horton, Dr. and Mrs. Leffingwell, Mrs. Barnes, Mr. Roach and Misses McNeil and Wadham. March 23rd. C. Wind E and NW. Sailed to and return with Mr. and Mrs. Updike, Misses Marie Patten and Annie Fuller and Mr. Cable. The party secured a good lot of shells. March 24th. Cl until 2 P.M. Wind variable NE light. Sailed to Barrack's place. Thence to Sansterre where I took aboard the outfit of cookery stoves bedding, etc. Returned and anchored off Hodler's. March 25th. Cl until noon. Wind N. stiff. Sailed to Mr. Barrack's place. Docked and took aboard provisions and got under way at 9:10 A.M. Accompanying him with a party of gentlemen in his cat boat "Oeta". Anchored in Buttonwood Harbor 12:30 P.M. March 26th. Cl until 9 A.M. Wind W. Got under way about 9 A.M. Anchored in Long Boat inlet. March 27. C. Wind SW. Got under way 1 P.M. Arrived and docked at Barrack's at 4 P.M. Put ashore provisions, etc. Mr. Barrack, Mr. Lewis and Mr. Hines have made the Florence their headquartes for eating and sleeping on this trip.
