Draw in to the wharf at high tide and discharged the edgings and also all moveable ballast, stones and fittings. June 25th. C. Took down the yacht's topmast and blocked her up on cribs for the summer. November 17th, 1896. C. Wind E. Let the yacht down onto the sand. I have lowered the cabin floor giving 6" more headroom and have put bulkheads in after end of cabin. She is newly painted throughout. November 18th. C. Wind E. Floated off the beach and anchored off on the flat. November 19th. C. Wind E light. Took aboard ballast, anchors, etc. November 22nd. Cl. Wind E. Bent on the main sails. Sailed as far as Fogarty's and return with Mother, Father, Ethel, Sue and Emma Gilbert aboard. November 27th. C. Wind SE. Sailed to Braidentown and return. Mr. J.H. Gray was aboard.
