Rosario, Paul and George aboard. Was becalmed in the bay and returned stopping at Shaw's Point on the way back. February 8th. Cl. Wind SE stiff. Sailed to Braidentown stopping at Hodler's, thence with Mr. John Howze aboard to Quarentine Station. Returning I reefed the mainsail and had rough beat across the bay. Docked at Riverside and laid there over night. February 9th. C. Wind NE, E and W. Sailed to Braidentown in forenoon. Later sailed between B'town and Palmetto with T. Curtis aboard. 2 P.M. Took Mr. and Mrs. Atwood and Mr. and Mrs. Coe aboard at Hodler's and sailed down river as far as McKay's point returning at sundown. February 10th. C. Wind E. Sailed down and anchored off Sans Terre. February 11th. Cl. Wind S very stiff. Sailed to Manatee stopping off Hodler's and Braidentown returned and anchored off Hotel. February 12th. Cl. Wind SE.
